Another warm evening. Tonight after work I rode east rather than west and hit the hills at the eastern side of the valley. After riding past Cisco's, Yahoo's and Ebays head office, I headed into some hispanic neighbourhoods before hitting the mountains. More 7-9% gradients before my front derailluer cable stretched and I had to turn for home. You don't want to be in the hills, no houses around, approaching dusk, in a foreign country with no backup and the bike plays up. So I took no chances and headed back.
