FFT goes to Bell's

Woke up early this morning, Troy was up and down the supermarket stocking up for breaky for us all. We hit the road at 8.30, started with a coffee in Ocean Grove, then in beautiful weather rode the coast road to Bells beach via Barwon Heads and Torquay. It is one of the best rides in the world. Brilliant sunshine, slight tailwind and unbelievable scenery. Stu and Col set a nice pace. We saw the German team, (they waved at us.....first-they know quality cyclists when they see them!) followed the Dutch team (Jorgy was killoing himself catching them for a photo!)and when we got to Bells Beach we pulled up next to the US team. Most of the teams seem to be staying around Torquay and enjoying the great riding. There are cyclists everywhere enjoying the morning. We will do around 80k (to Bells beach and back). Will head back to the house now and go to the race this afternoon.
